Our Pastor

Pastor Carl Dunn is the youngest of three siblings, born in the Bronx, New York to a legacy of preachers of the Gospel, including his father, mother, and grandparents. He has five beautiful children: Carl Jr., Dejanee, Joshua, Tanasia and Aaron, all of whom are multi-talented and active in the church. Overcoming the lure of the streets to accept his call to ministry has brought this man of God to several crossroads. Choosing ministry has brought him and those who receive his message of purpose in Christ, greater success. Carl Dunn pastored the Greater Blessed Hope Ministry in Mount Vernon, New York. for over 20 years, he now servers as senior pastor at The Rhema Family Worship Center NEWBURGH NY, Pastor Dunn has practical experience as a community leader and youth advocate, which he used to establish the Hope Resource Center Mount Vernon NY, to focus on the needs of the homeless, and our youth in the community.
He has attended the Manhattan Bible Institute completing Evangelism and Post Graduate Theology II. He furthered his education by successfully completing various courses at Bronx Community College. Presently, Elder Dunn is employed by the MTA New York City Transit as a Bus Operator. Elder Dunn is internationally recognized as the “Preacher” who demonstrates God’s Word by combining biblical truths and selecting random members from the congregation to bring God’s Word alive. His excitement and intensity in delivering the Word of the Lord has helped to revive ministries, restore pastors, rebuild churches, and renew the hearts and minds of Believers, as well as Non-Believers to a new level of faith and commitment to God. It is hard to believe when watching Elder Dunn preach to the glory of God that several years ago, he suffered a cut to the jugular v. Through the miraculous healing power of God, Pastor Carl Dunn is now using his testimony to impart wisdom and truth to this end time generation.
